It is with great pride that I announce my candidacy for Erie County Sheriff.
I’m an experienced leader with over thirty years of private sector law enforcement support. I have worked with the City of Erie Police, Millcreek Township Police Department, PA Office of Attorney General, PA State Police, U.S. Customs, U.S. Secret Service and the F.B.I.
I have been a small buisness owner since 1990, a WJET-TV videographer, and work with the Erie County D.U.I. Task Force. In 2004 I was honored with the U.S. Secret Service Recognition Award.
I know that through efficiency, technology, and good old fashioned tenacity, we can make Erie a safer place for ourselves, our families, and our children.
We can make this community safer, and we can serve the people better. We can target efficiency to save taxpayer money. We can go after grants to create and improve our services, such as the school resource officer program, which proactively increases school safety and builds friendly relationships between Law Enforcement and students.
As Erie County Sheriff, I will:
- Secure the Erie County Court House.
- Save Taxpayer money by streamlining administrative operations.
- Build a modern law enforcement network to deliver secure information in real time.
- Utilize private sector experience and emerging technologies to create an efficient user-friendly office.
Because I know that relationships are crucial for a safer community I will work with local police departments, community organizations, and neighborhood watch groups.
My experience has given me the best of both worlds. I have worked in the private sector, but closely with law enforcement, so I know that sharing information in the most efficient way possible is the quickest way to get any job done.
I am a man of integrity, honor and determination.
