One of the many advantages of having served in law enforcement both at the parish and federal levels was my exposure to a multitude of situational and investigative techniques and tools utilized by law enforcement agencies. After having participated in and managed high-profile criminal cases in multiple regions of the country, I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with multiple RTCC units as it provided me with detailed insight into the value they bring to active situations and criminal investigations.
Implementation of an RTCC in Vermilion Parish will be a high priority for my administration because I know firsthand that this will allow us to utilize technology as a force multiplier to not only prevent or deter criminal activity but it will also provide investigators with a plethora of data to help them solve crimes quicker than ever.
